Plant treatment and use of plants by humans are as old as human history. The formation of modern society and industrialization made it necessary for people to migrate from villages to cities. As a result, human beings tried to adapt to a new way of life that was cut from nature. In the meantime, many village culture and folklore of oblivion, as well as the treatment of plants used in the treatment and recognition of the plants transferred from generation to generation is about to be lost. In this study, we aimed to identify the plants in our region which help the treatment of diseases and to collect the information about the treatment of the plants with the local people. As a result of the study, a total of 98 plants belonging to 44 different plant families were used for medicinal and aromatic purposes. In addition, it was seen that the local people in the rural areas were more concerned with this subject than the ones in the district centers, the average age was high, and they learned this from the past, and thus the treatment of plants was culturally transferred.
