In this article, from early ages to adulthood, the pattern of behaviors is expected by social environment from woman and man individuals, moral attitudes and dealing with sexism perception created by sole worry about what society thinks and in English literature, the reflections to theater plays named A Doll’s House and A View from the Bridge are aimed to examine by supporting with various quotations from theater plays. In this study, firstly, definitions of words such as gender, social gender roles and sexism problem are included. Then, how sexism perception shows itself, how people estimate women’ and men’ behaviors in terms of their genders by giving example from daily life. After that, this gender problem that takes an important place in theater plays A Doll’s House of Henrik Ibsen and A View from the Bridge of Arthur Miller is tried to scrutinize looking at in terms of a woman and man individuals.
