Agriculture is a strategically important sector in terms of the nutrition of the population and the inputs it provides to other sectors. important policies for the agricultural sector in Turkey, especially since 2002, has begun to implement. In this context, taking into account the characteristics of the realization of rural development in Turkey on behalf of GAP, DAP, KOP important projects such as the region and has been developed. These policies and projects also target rural development. In this study, it is aimed to analyze the supports for the agricultural sector in the axis of rural development. According to the evaluations made, the targeted results could not be achieved when the projects implemented, the policies implemented and the support provided to it were taken as a whole. It has been determined that the cultivation areas of the agricultural products taken into consideration are decreasing with each passing day and that despite the decrease in the cultivation areas, there is a relative increase in production. When compared with the population increase, it is considered that these production increases are not sufficient.
