From the past, man has left documents as a means of transferring his existence to the next generations. The documents that started with the paintings on the walls of the cave and the need for sheltering and the architectural structures developed constitute the cultural heritage of societies. The architecture informs the next generations by producing structures in which we can understand the social and technological development of the period. The photograph, which is an important tool for producing documents since its introduction, has been the subject of producing visual records of culture and social life since its past years. Since the discovery of the building in 1826, the architectural structures are one of the main subjects of photography. Ahmet Ertuğ, who produces photographs in the field of architectural photography, produces photographs of buildings with cultural heritage with a special perspective that he combines with the knowledge of education and contemporary art. These works produced by bringing a contemporary interpretation with the Dusseldorf photography school perspective are important in terms of having a contemporary interpretation of traditional values. Images created with special technical equipment have turned into albums and books with advanced printing methods. In this research, the production of a study in the field of architectural photography as a work of art (cultural heritage) was conveyed.
