TRANSPORTATİON SATİSFACTİON ATTİTUDE SCALE DEVELOPMENT: AN APPLİCATİON İN HARRAN UNİVERSİTY

Abstract

Transportation satisfaction, which has an important place in daily life, has a special importance for university students. With this study, in satisfaction ran scale is developed before transportation, during transportation and general transportation for the service satisfaction of the students in the transportation to the Osmanbey campus, which is 30 km away from the city center of Şanlıurfa Harran University. The validity and reliability analyzes of the scale indicate that the scale is highly valid and reliable, and the demographic characteristics effects (gender, department, class, age, district, campus, number of courses, etc.) of the 86 students selected by convenience sampling on the level of transportation satisfaction, (before, during and overall transportation) are analyzed as a pilot study. Among them only students' department was found to be significant on before and during their transportation satisfaction at the level of 0.05. The most satisfied department was determined to be civil engineering while the least one was students of other departments.
