Decision-making is a meticulous approach to reaching conclusions throughout history and is at the heart of management activities. For this reason, the decision makers' use of their intuition and imagination in order to see the future is important for the quality and continuity of the decision. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of imagination and intuition on the decision of hotel managers. In the scope of the study, 19 questions were asked to hotel managers of 4 and 5-star hotels located in Balıkesir Province with a semi-structured interview technique. The data obtained are qualitative data and results were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and content analysis in the findings section. According to the results of the study, it was determined that hotel managers used their intuitions more than imagination in decision making and that the use of two components in decision making had a positive effect on the quality of the decisions and the success of the hotels.
