SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND PROJECTS OF FRANCE

Abstract

The aim of school development is to make the school more productive, to carry out success- enhancing activities to eliminate the deficiencies of the students, to make the teachers better equipped and to improve the learning conditions. In the study, the question of “How the effective school development works should be in order to make the school more qualified, increase student success and reduce their absenteeism?” was tried to be answered.In this study, how the education system is in France, and school development projects and experimental studies of France were mentioned. After examining the features and objectives of the stages in the French education system, the projects and experimental works aimed to increase student successwere examined. As a result, related suggestions are presented on what are required to be done to increase student success and ensure students' attendance in school during the school development process.
