Today, cultural interaction has become widespread throuhout the World as a positive effect of globalization. This situation has infuluenced Turkish art in conceptual and formal aspects and halp the contemporary art environment to be strengthened and to be recognized in the World art environment. Accordingly, in the enriched art environment, the issues that women face in the social field have become more visible in the artworks especially after the 1990’s and this orientation has been embraced with increasing momentum among women artists. In the scope of this paper, last three decades, in the field of contemporary feminist art in Turkey female artist and artworks will be examined. For this purpose, by giving place to the development of Feminist art in the World and in our county since the 1960s, the production forms and discourses of women artist after 1990 in the field of feminist art will be examined. It is seen that the artists of this period carried gender inequalities, socio-cultural restrictions on women’s identity and objections to violence against women into the field of art. In this context, by presenting the conceptual references that takes place in the subtext of the artworks produced, the production methods and techniques of the works will be focused. The connections between the conceptual text and visual production preference, criticism and objections to the matter in their art works will be revealed.
