Human life is divided into three periods. These are birth, marriage and death. These three periods are very important for human life. Transition periods have a special place in every society. There are different practices applied regarding the transition periods from society to society. These practices are shaped and implemented according to the cultural values and belief systems of societies for centuries. In other words, it can be said that the transition periods of societies are a mirror of cultural and belief values. The most important wealth of that society is the vocabulary related to the implementation of certain practices that are kept alive between societies in transitional periods. Word presence is the moment precious treasure of language, which is the memory of the society. The vocabulary provides a link between the past and the present of the language. Because the vocabulary of the language constantly renews itself and develops day by day. The Turkish nation has spread to different geographies throughout history and continued their lives in the geography they are located with different names. They lived in the geographies where they were dispersed, especially in the Caucasus, Anatolia, the Balkans and Siberia, especially in the Turkistan geography. Turksish of Turkey came to Anatolia and adopted it as their homeland. Uzbeks are a Turkish community, most of which live in Turkistan. It is known that these two Turkish communities living in different geographies have many partnerships, especially language, culture and belief, due to their historical ties. In this study, vocabulary related to the transition periods of Turkish of Turkey and Uzbeks will be determined. The Turkish-Uzbek Dictionary of Nasiba Yusupova was used in determining the existence of vocabulary regarding birth, marriage and death.
