Abstract

Summary: Studies and news on the spread of COVID-19, which emerged in China in 2019 and whose first case was seen in our country as of March 2020, and the measures, precautions, restrictions taken for this reason in our country and the effects of these restrictions on the real estate sector have been analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the volumes and reasons of the pauses in the real estate market are mentioned. The reasons fort he contractions in the real estate sector during the pandemic process and the reasons for these contractions started to expand again were explained. İn this study; government subsidies, changing real estate sector, new normal life arrangements awaiting the real estate sector, the direction of the changes in real estate demands and the revised versions of customer demands for real estate purchases and sales were mentioned. With this study, the real estate sector and the sudden occurrence of pandemics, natural disasters, etc., how its impact has been transferred to a predictable dimension for some reason. Although the real estate sector is based on solid foundations, the sector is in a position to be most affected by sudden social, economic and political factors. Even if the aspects of possible changes that may be experienced in proportion to these reasons and their effects on human preferences are only examined in the case of epidemics, they are carried as pioneering sources in the name of other external factors that may be experienced.
