Global public awareness that emerged with the globalization showed its effect in public international law as in every other field. Global public good concept which emerged as economically at first is one of the main subjects which should be dealt within public international law. In the most general sense, the global public good represents the goods belonging to the people that are called global public and include all people in the world. Therefore, the relationship between the public law and the public acquired an international dimension with the global public good concept. On the other hand, a concept such as global public law has not developed in the literature yet so there is no adequate studies in this field. Therefore, this study evaluates the current status of the global public goods in terms of public international law. In this regard, this study evaluates the literature studies regarding the issue, analyzes the acquired information with the content analysis method and presents the current status of global public goods in the public international law. According to the study results, global public goods demonstrates a relationship in terms of domestic law or public law similarly to the one between public goods and the law in the field of public international law. On the other hand, public international law has not progressed enough theoretically in the process of globalization, though the public good awareness and the studies in the literature are dated to a rather earlier period. Therefore, we require studies in public international law which will address the global public goods better in the conceptual framework and can fill the required legal gaps in this field.
