This article aims at analyzing the reasons behind the assignment of 19th Division to the Galician Front in a bid to help to Austria and Germany, which were allied with the Ottoman Empire along with later developments in the process. In the article the causes of sending Ottoman soldiers to Galician Fronth have been evaluated and at this context the balance sheet cause-effect analysis was made. While conducting the research, first, the documents in the ATASE Archives of Prime Ministry are taken into account as the primary sources. Furthermore, other secondary sources and published pieces are used in addition.
