A comparative view on Ibn Mut and Ibn Malik Elfiyes abctract In this study Ibn Mu’t and Ibn Malik’s works named “Elfiyye” were handled comparatively. The grammar of Arabic language has been given great importance by linguistic scientists from the earliest times. In this context, the title of the “Elfiyye” was writen by Ibn Mu’t. After Ibn Mu’t, the work “Elifiyye” was writen by Ibn Malik in Nahiv area. With this work, we studied both works in general, and then we studied the styles of masterpieces of both authors. We tried to explain each author by giving examples to the styles of verse. In the meantime, we tried to determine the styles of expressing the linguistic rules of each of the two works and the characteristics of each of them. In this frame we tried to reveal the uniqe aspects of each work with examples from both works. By this means, we have determined that the two works have different important points. We hope that such a study will help researchers and readers.
