Color symbolism is one of the most decisive elements used to identify and distinguish objects. In other words, it is one of the easiest ways to distinguish one object from another. In the realm of existence, everything has a distinctive color and it is known that these colors have different meanings. Many researches have shown that color is related not only with living beings but also with abstract psychology. Colors are known to have some effects on people's moods and personalities. Today, psychology and modern science claim that colors have an effect on people's treatment and psychological relief. This article has been prepared in order to emphasize the colors that are very effective in the inner and outer worlds of the people, to have symbolic meanings in the Mawlavism, to draw attention to the messages given through the colors and to indicate the four colors that represent the 4 selams in the Mevlevi Sema Ceremony.
