An eight-year-old elementary school third-grade student who migrated from Afghanistan to Karabuk in September 2020 with his family and had to continue his classes with distance education due to the pandemic after attending formal school for two months participated in the study. The student was asked to draw his school, teacher and friends, and in this context, the student drew three different pictures. These pictures were analyzed by document analysis. Based on the pictures drawn by the student, it was observed that the refugee student adapted to his school within two months, loved his teacher, but could not establish intimate relationships with his friends yet. It is important to carry out classroom-school activities that can facilitate the adaptation of refugee students to school.</p> ER -
