Abstract


THE EFFECTS OF WORKING FROM HOME ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE PROCESSES IN COVID-19 PROCESS

The Covid-19 epidemic, which started in Wuhan, China, which affected the whole world and caused a pandemic period, caused radical and radical changes both in daily life and in business life. This unexpected change in the external environment factor, one of the most important factors affecting the organizational culture, has made organizational change inevitable for organizations to survive and develop in today's complex world. While “working from home”, which is one of the components of flexible working conditions, is a concept based on preferences, it is a necessity for now. In this process, where the concept of mobility is in vogue, the transition process from carbon workforce to digital workforce has accelerated. Motivation and job satisfaction have great importance in order to adapt to the integration process as quickly as possible. In this study, the effects of home work on organizational performance and organizational change processes were investigated in line with the data obtained as a result of the interviews conducted with 10 senior executives working from home during the pandemic process.
