Abstract


THE EVELATION ON REALIZED INTERNAL MIGRATION BETWEEN REGIONS IN TURKEY WITH THE EFFECT PUSH AND PULL FACTORS

Migration is the situation of individuals leaving their place of residence for economic, political and social reasons and moving to another settlement. Migration has a significant impact on both the receiving and emigrating regions, as it creates significant changes in the economic, political, cultural and social structure. The Theoretical basis of this study, which examined the causes of internal migration in Turkey, repulsive and attractive forces have attempted to identify framework approach. Among the driving forces are agricultural land shortage, mechanization in agriculture, low income and unemployment and incidental events, while attractive forces include high income and employment opportunity, economic situation urban public services and relatives and acquaintances in the city. In Turkey Statistical Area Classification Level 1 cause of internal migration between regions according to one repulsive and attractive forces are evaluated by the approach. Considering the factors that cause or encourage migration enables more realistic policies to be implemented to ensure a balanced internal migration. Accordingly, the internal migration that took place in Turkey; It has been observed that it is from rural areas to urban areas, from undeveloped cities to metropolitan areas.
